Scope of Project: Living room entry divider, arch, and lowered ceiling.

Location:  Huntersville NC

Elements: This was a challenging project. In the first photo, you can see that the living room was completely open to the entry and had no "definition" as a room.  The client wanted a divider built that would carry the design of the arch in the front door inward into the living room, as the second photo shows. It's a challenge cutting and framing the arch, and the lowered ceiling in the hall. You can see the care that was taken in applying smooth drywall to the frame. The finished result shows the craftsmanship and attention to detail.

This project also involved building bookcases into the divider as well as laying and finishing new hardwood floors in the living room and matching them to the hallway.

Cost:  This was part of an $85,000 project involving remodeling the kitchen and family (see elsewhere in this website).

Completion Time: approx. 8 weeks for the entire project with multiple rooms.

This project’s customer contact information is available by email request.
