Scope of Project: Attic Completion

Location: Deerfield Creek, Matthews NC

Elements: We took an unfinished third level attic and finished it into a bonus/recreation room. This family has two young boys that the mother wanted an area for family activities and storage for their games, etc.

The area has a separate HVAC system that serves the third level independently of the lower levels. The recessed ceiling can lights illuminates the entire area in a friendly softness. Notice the exceptionally sharp drywall lines and seams at the very difficult drywall angles.

Additional storage was created by designing two double door closets.
