Scope of Project: Front Elevation Renovation

Location: Randolph Rd. area of Charlotte

Elements: Modify the front elevation appearance of this 50 yr old home. The irregular front roof lines with an unusually wide masonry chimney dominated this home’s frontal appearance.

Builder’s Perspective: The desire of the customer was to give her home a colonial cottage appearance. The addition of the usable gabled front porch with tapered columns and colonial railings, replacement of dated window styles, compact landscaping and painted brick created the curb side appeal desired. Just look at the finished product. The porch floor was completed with a stamped finish. Notice in the final photos how you do not focus on the chimney.
